We have the new guy, Obama. He is untested and seems unsure. On the other hand we have McCain, a man of war. Obama seems a good match for the Democrats, he is not too strong and he wants to make everyone happy. McCain is a good choice for the Republicans, he is pro war and he wants to have open boarders to protect the corporations. The question is, which is better for America? I would say neither, but we, as a country, have placed ourselves in a corner. We can pick form only two men, neither of them good enough for the job. Which is the lesser of the two evils?

I agree... in fact, I agree so much that I find it hard to stomach the thought of voting for either of them.

I hate that we only have 2 choices. The reality is that we do not, but because the main stream of voters do not realize they can think outside the box and vote for someone else we are stuck with just 2 people. McCain will have us drop out trade boarders to anyone that wants to screw us over and Obama, we have no clue what he will do. They both say what they have to in order to get votes. We the people will not know the truth on what either will do until after it is too late, but we at least know that McCain is bad, so we just have take a risk with Obama and hope for the best.

The elite gives the illusion of a 2 party system to divide us. There's only 1 party and that party represents the folks who put them there, the corporation. Everything else is a false belief and hope.

I visit so many web sites with people quoting the above and what i see going on in america through the news through the statistics and the quality of everyday life its almost impossible not to believe this.
Just think how much more you fear for your country now than you or your family did ten years ago.
Its time we start driving the point home the election is a month away and there ARE MORE THAN TWO CHOICES FOR PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEES. We the middle class dont have the money or corprate sponsorship the main two canidates at this time do but WE DO HAVE THE POWER TO VOTE get the word out to your friends and family and have them do the same. Be proactive help overload the internet forums and blogs with the other possible choices and why they would be good canidates. So many americans use the internet hell ITS free political advertising at its finest. We the people need to brighten up and stop crying about the crap others want us to have while they skim off the lobbyist.
WE THE PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER thats what america is all about so stop giving the power to baffoons who tell lies to make you feel better to get into your psyche and make you believe you are just a sheep. Time to stray from the flock people and i guarantee those you love will follow. Just remember your better than a liar and a thief if your niether of those then you yourself are a leader. BE PROACTIVE.

However, if this crap continues with the name calling and labels for each party nothing will change.

For instance:

"McCain is a good choice for the Republicans, he is pro war and he wants to have open borders to protect the corporations."

Let me tell you why both statements are bullsh!t, first, no party is "for war." If you truly believe that you need to look at who was President during which wars. There were far more democrat Presidents that presided over the U.S. during war time then Republicans. Second, no (real) Republican is for open boarders, in fact it was the majority of "Republicans" want illegals out but the democrats see that as "racist."

Bush is not a Republican, in fact, the Republican party is not republican (or maybe I should use the term Conservative?)

Either way, I am a Libertarian and I love the fact people believe that Obama will give you more freedom. I hate both candidates and both parties but I freely admit I HATE the democrats more, they use terms like Racist, fascist, Ignorant, etc, etc when their ideas fall flat on the table and they do not want to be questioned. They are the party of Nazi’s and they use strong arm tactics against anyone/thing that criticizes them. (The ONE snl skit they had to pull off the air…anyone? That’s not fascist?)

So let me get your comments about Obama straight:
", he is not too strong and he wants to make everyone happy"

Happy how? By raising taxes on everyone? (If you really believe that 95% of Americans are going to get a tax break after we just dumped all this money into a bail out you HAVE to be on drugs or just plain ignorant).

I hate Obama more because he will destroy the country the fastest (yes, McCain will destroy this country as well). Socialism never worked and trying to undo programs after a president (and a crazy ass congress) implements will never happen, people just become more and more dependent on it.

We are screwed, unless everyone can see past their party lines we are screwed. We need small government, get rid of all the welfare programs and kick everyone out of the white house and replace them with new blood.

Term limits on EVERY position in Government (including appointed positions). That is the ONLY way we are going to save this Country....giving away health care, wealth to the "poor" etc will do nothing but turn this country into another France and to be honest with you, America deservers it.

We are too ignmorant and we deserve a sh!thead President like Obama that will totally f#ck our country up because America needs to see you do not get anything for "free."

R.I.P. America
1776-2008

We need a candidate like Bob Barr OR Chuck Baldwin OR Ron Paul...........
Or else I hope you like Frances health care and their crappy standard of living.

Actually, we had more than two choices; the problem is most people have been duped into believing we only have TWO. We must cease from voting for the lesser of two evils and stand up on principle! Most Americans were not happy with the TWO choices, if all of those people voted principle instead of lesser of two evils, then the evil Obama would not be in place to take us even further down the path of despair that 8 years of Bush. To be honest, what difference does it really make, the PTB will put in the White House and Congress who they want to control their agenda.
