Hello Editor : I do not buy any of the propaganda about low inflation, I determine the inflation level by my buying power and that has decreased immensely the last several years. As a senior citizen on a fixed income (the forgotten group) I am having trouble keeping my head above water so I do not buy into the propaganda of low inflation and a vigorous economy. What I do see is definitely a new group of poor people that at one time were independent citizens able to pay their own way.The "fat cats" of Wall Street along with our Washington politicians see nothing but the dollars filling their own pockets while forcing the "little guy" down the drain. We are not far from becoming a two class system, the rich and the poor. By the time the upper middle class can no longer afford the necessities in life and realize their predicament it will probably be too late to stop the completion of a two class system.

I do not consider myself a good writer but in what I have written above I am venting my frustration on what is happening to our economy and country as a whole.

Thank you for the opportunity in allowing me to express myself.

I hear what you're saying. I am 61 years old and my wife and I are barely holding our own house. I have my own blog you might be interested in visiting. It is:

Come visit it. I invite your comments. We might have a lot to talk about.
