Stocks Poised to Fall +  


Analysts with CNNMoney.com predicted another rough day of trading today, beginning with a pull back at the opening bell. A major factor contributing to the mixed results yesterday and today were comments in the Federal Reserve Bank’s policy statement from Wednesday.

Markets Drop, Fed Running Out of Options 1  


One major worry in the United States economy today is that the Federal Reserve inactivity may be a sign of something else. The Federal Reserve may be “out of bullets”, so to speak.

Rosy Start Projected for Stocks +  


Stocks were projected to jump at the opening bell, and each of the major indices has lived up to expectations in the first hours. The volume of trading could be a bit lower with no major economic reports due out today.

Lower than Expected Open for Stocks +  


Despite some expectations of a better start today investors still sent share prices lower in the first hour of trading. Stocks should look to recover later in the morning, but it is unclear how that will pan out for the rest of the day.

BP has already failed on its promise to promptly fund all financial claims resulting from the spill. The oil giant spared no expense when it came to funding television and radio commercials and building a claims website.

Tuesday was a sad day for this country. The House had the opportunity to stop the war in Afghanistan in its tracks. Instead it voted to continue to fund the war approving the $58.8 billion war funding bill.
