Source Future Bank Losses May Total $945 Billion :

The problem is technology. Our factories are obsolete. We rely too much on labor to produce goods. We have already lost most of our [T.V.] manufacturing because our products were not as cheep to produce as those produced in Asia.

You will find that companies like Whirpool and York are dealing with China to deliver their products. A factory like Gree Appliances in Zuhai, China is so advanced in technology and robotics that we no can no longer compete against them.

They employ 30,000 feeding machines (robots) and produce 20 million air conditioning units per year with less than a one percent failure rate. Their products are made more efficiently, for less than half the price.

Do not cry about your losses. Stop complaining and invest in America, train American workers to be the best and give them the best technological equipment to compete against this global market.

We also need our government to support our industries by facilitating financing. It is impossible for small businesses to obtain loans. How do you expect us to grow this way?

The Chinese government invested close to $2 billion to create Gree Appliances, now the largest air conditioning manufacturer in the world. Four years ago they controlled over 80 percent of the company. After creating more than 30,000 jobs, they have collected over $6 billion in revenues and still control 20 percent of the company. Their profits are used to create new state of the art factories. It is time for us to do the same!

why would somebody invest in a billion dollars worth of equipment so some local government can tax their property ? it's the samething with highly paid labor, along comes the government to tax it. As long as we tax property & labor imports have the edge.

hey stupid, we gave them the technology. we taught them the way to buils factories and gave them the money to do it with. your ignorance is astounding.

I see so many articles that talk about loss of American manufacturing jobs & economic mess that they are in & not many people suggest what can be done to come out of the mess. The answer might be simple but will "they" (read bankers) let is happen. Let all the bloated banks & corporations that has made money by fleecing common man fail & die, get rid of them as soon as possible. Also, the main reason for loss of American manufacturing is the "cost of living" in these western countries. Well, its all fine that they enjoy great living standards & good food to eat & lots of dresses to wear, vacations, entertainments etc.....but some one has to pay for all these luxuries?? People don't want to work hard (mostly) but want to get paid handsomely.......Look at the third world countries.....their over heads are very less......& hence they are able to provide lots of manufacturing....one can keep blah blah-ing about all the humany misery, poverty, human rights & shit...but the bottom line is they are able to produce a product for cheap.....end of argument....which is what the corporations want.

What is really needed in (especially in the western world) is to stop taking "DEBT" for every reason & start working hard & maintain a simple living. But, if only the bankers let it happen.

Why is it that our government gives tax brakes to people from other countries coming here and starting their own business. They get money from our government then do not pay taxes for the first 5 years. Why can we get deals like that?
