NAFTA And The WTO ... Taking U.S. Jobs

Organizations such as NAFTA and the WTO endanger the future of America as U.S. companies cannot compete with nations who offer non-existent labor standards. Countries failing to offer their employees benefits with far lower rates-of-pay force Americans to practice the same standards, costing Americans jobs and a decent standard of living.

An influx of cheaply produced goods from these same countries has destroyed American industry in two ways. It has forced American industry to leave our soil and produce abroad, costing the U.S. jobs, technology and a steady in-flow of money. It has also plainly forced many respected American firms to go out of business.

Source OpEdNews.com:

There is a great difference between free trade and fair trade. What William Jefferson Clinton signed on both NAFTA and the WTO were free trade agreements, there was never anything fair about it. Ask the more than 8.5 million people who are now unemployed in the U.S. whether it was fair.

When I wrote “The Biggest Lie Ever Believed,” I pointed out that a U.S. company cannot under any circumstances compete with labor that is being paid at 50 times less. You didn’t read that wrong, fifty times less.
