Did Bush and McCain give the $100 billion tanker project to Airbus?

Did Bush and McCain, against the best interests of our airplane manufacturing industry and all Americans, give the $100 billion tanker project to European owned Airbus?

Many think this is an absolute betrayal of their trust. In times of declared war, some may consider this sell-out of our military contracts to foreign interests a traitorous act.

The Air Force may have changed their bid criteria at the behest of John McCain to favor Airbus, a company in which McCains' top presidential staff members used to lobby for, this according to a story in Blogging Stocks.

The story also notes that President Bush may have gotten involved to make sure the deal went to Airbus rather than the more qualified American based Boeing to enhance diplomatic relations with French President Sarkozy and German Chancellor Merkel.

Something smells extremely fishy!

I got this theory from a veteran Wall Street analyst who covers the aircraft industry. He suggested that Boeing lost the Tanker bid because John McCain -- who is ranking member on the Senate Armed Services Committee -- had the Air Force change the specifications for the tanker bid so Airbus and Northrop would be able to field a competitive bid. My source noted that the one problem with the change was that the Air Force did not inform Boeing about it.

After the bid was awarded to Airbus, it became clear that the original specifications had changed from a small, 737-sized craft to a medium-sized 777 one. During the review process, my source contends that Boeing asked the Air Force if the 737-sized craft was what it wanted. Boeing also told the Air Force that it would be happy to bid with a different model if the Air Force wanted. But the Air Force told Boeing that it still wanted the 737-sized craft.

My source also pointed out -- as I posted last month -- that McCain's top finance staff members for his presidential run were lobbyists for Airbus. But my source mentioned that Airbus paid them hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. He also suggested that President Bush got involved in the decision. My source thinks that Bush awarded the contract to Airbus because he wanted to curry favor with Sarkozy and Merkel -- both countries are part of Airbus.

Military security and American jobs should not be on the chopping block to ‘curry favor’ with foreign heads of state. The future of our country should not be controlled by unelected, partisan lobbyists whose interests are their own- rather than those of the American people. If true, this is outrageous.

If it is true that Bush and McCain did negotite a sweetheart deal to payback favors and award the bid to Airbus, it would'nt surprise me.

Why?

Because those who are the most patriotic all-American flag waving military types are just snow job captians and have no qualms about harming our nation and people if they can make a quick buck. Chickenhawks like Bush actually went AWOL. Cheney dodged the draft 5X because of cowardice. McCain still believes we should be in Vietnam fighting. These are the same folks that told us we are at a "tipping point" and that there were 'Definately" WMDs and that the insurgency is "in its last throes" and "The oil revenue will pay for the war" and the war/occupation would only cost 5-10 billion and that the campaign "could last 6 days or 6 weeks, but I doubt 6 months" Rumsfeld.

There are so many examples of gross hypocracy in American public life: We see the most holy and devout men of God actually be pedophile priests. We see godly men like Warren Jeffs having multiple teenage wives under his thumb. We see Pat Robertson calling for the assassination of Hugo Chavez. We see Sweatty Sinner Swaggert and Jim Baker and having affairs and presidential advisor Ted Haggard as having repeated a meth fueled gay sex encounters.....even after he wags his finger at sinners in JesusCampTheMovie.com

We see solid conservative "pro family" Republicans like Mark Foley trolling the internet for teenage flesh. Larry Craig looking for dirty gay bathroom sex, Tom Delay running a sweatshop with forced prostitution and abortion in the Marianas Islands and Newt Gingrinch divorcing his wife while she lay ailing in the hospital.

Now we have bad pilot John Mccain who has escaped blame for the Keating 5 scandal and who is on wife #2 being the standard bearer for moral decency and solid family values.http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/

So why believe any corporate candidate? As soon as you see their lips moving you know they are lieing.

How many times do people have to get fooled
