So-called "free trade" has unfairly allowed foreign manufacturers to devastate American manufacturing, forcing them out of business or to sell out. Pat Buchanan, slammed the effects of free trade in a debate with Bob Reich on Monday's Hardball with Chris Matthews:

"We have lost 3 million manufacturing jobs since George Bush took office- 1 in every 6. If that is a successful trade policy, Dr. Reich, give us the statistics on failed policy.”

There is no longer any doubt that our free trade agreements have devastated America and the middle class. America’s free trade policy has seen towering debts, stagnant middle class wages, a decimated manufacturing base and a free-falling dollar become commonplace.

Free trade has fleeced the American worker and threatens our future prosperity.
