COMING SOON? The North American Union

CNN's Lou Dobbs has recently discussed on his show details of President Bush’s program to create a North American Union that will combine Canada, Mexico and the United States into a super state called the "North American Union" There is no legislation or congressional oversight much less public support for this massive restructuring of the United States.

What is the plan? Simple, erase the borders between Mexico, Canada, and the United States. The plan is contained in a “security and prosperity partnership” (spp) of North America. Very little noticed when at their meeting in Waco Texas at the end of March 2005 U.S. President George W Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin committed their governments to a plan of cooperation and joint action.

An initial first step to integrate this plan: U.S. transportation secretary Mary E. Peters went to El Paso, TX to make an announcement that for the first time, starting in April, 100 Mexican trucking companies will be allowed to make deliveries anywhere in the U.S., and she put no limit on the number of trucks the 100 companies can operate. This is a major step toward Bush’s vision of the North American Union.

Shouldn’t something as serious as this which would totally change America as we have known it, be given much more publicity and congressional oversight and approval? Please write or phone your congressional leaders to discuss this.
